I really like the shape of the lamp. I’ve been waiting for Amazon to get new lanterns so I was happy to see these. They work well for indoor decoration only. They seem perfect except one big flaw. They are not real stained glass. The glass panels are clear glass that has been painted with color. That’s why you cannot use them outdoors. They will fade if the sunlight hits them, even through a window if the sun is strong enough. Real stained glass is made to have sunlight shine through without fading. You cannot treat these like stained glass. Cleaning the glass is tough because even with plain water the color came off a little. I’m afraid to even use mild dish soap on these. I’ll probably return the 2 lamps because the color stain wasn’t applied properly and the color came off where it was bubbled inside. With that said, I will reorder because they are really cute and I love the shape. I will replace the glass if I decide to put them outside. I collect lanterns and it’s pretty common to get painted glass instead of real stained glass. It’s fine if you’re careful and you know what to expect. This is affordable and still looks nice. Shipping was fast so that’s good!

I love this lantern. Ordered the purple, which I knew from previous reviews to be more of a dark pink, and that is exactly what I was looking for. Have a tea light currently, but large enough to fit a pretty big candle if you wanted to. The door latch looks to be a thin metal, but seems to be durable enough for opening and closing frequently. I haven’t had any issues as of yet. I did not use the chain it came with. Instead I attached a small, 6 inch, indoor plant hanger to the wall for it to hang from. Love the look. Would recommend.

Definitely lightweight, and the bronze color rubbed off the chain when I touched it. But if you don’t plan on touching it, it looks great. I’ve got it hanging in my room and I put battery powered fairy lights inside. It does fit a 3.5″ battery powered candle, but it wasn’t bright enough for me.

I figured it was just a fluke when my first order came in a box marked amber but had purple glass. Nope. Just ordered a second lantern and same problem- marked amber, actually purple glass. Pretty bummed as I like this lantern, but clearly there is a huge issue with manufacturing or production. Returning this..again.UPDATE: within 24 hours, the company reached out to me to make things right, and I appreciate the gesture. Updated my review to 4 stars due to the good customer service.

Arrived quickly and well packaged. At first glance it’s very cute but upon closer examination it is real cheaply make! The latch to close the door broke off the first day. In the ad it appears that when you put a candle in it you will see patterns on the wall this wasn’t the case. You can barely see the flicker of the candle at all. It has real glass panels but the rest is like a thin tin not sturdy at all! For the price I expected a little bit more.

It’s a different color than in the listing picture. Instead of a purple that is much closer to red, it’s more of a dull, muted plum color. The “glass” walls on the door side are at an odd angle and are smaller than the other sides making it look very asymmetric

They’re small but extremely pretty. Some reviews said it looked rusted but that’s what gives it it’s old world, antique like style. I purchased it as a gift and loved it so much I kept it for myself and plan to order more colors. It was packaged pretty securely but I would suggest adding packing inside the globe to protect the glass panels better.

I put it on a shepherds hook in my patio garden with little fairy lights that are battery operated on a timer. It’s so cute. This lantern has a latch hook door that opens for easy access to place a candle or lights in. It comes ready to hang out of the box ! It has an extension chain that you can use , or a nice o ring for direct hanging like I have it.

I had been looking for a lamp in this style to use as a side table lamp in my living room, but none of them were quite right. I found this one, and after seeing photos and reading other reviews I decided it was worth the chance. I am so glad I did! On and off, it’s perfect for the aesthetic in my sitting room. I used a string of small LEDs as lights in there, so it’s comfortably bright.

They look stunning and the metal and glass are made of really good material but they aren’t heavy. The glass is thick and the metal is strong. I added rechargeable led candles that can be turned on/off with a remote. If you want the shadow of the decorations on the metal to show on the walls add more light.

I recently purchased quite a few of these style lanterns for under my gazebo for the summer- last one I bought was this one. Really liked how it’s made and the side and style. Ended up my favorite after adding small set of string lightsI would buy more – I would also buy even more if more colors were available- like blues, greens etc

Super super gorgeous and quality for the price!It’s an absolute steal in my opinion honestly. The lantern has a really nice quality and weight to it, and it’s definitely a little larger than I was expecting, which was great. For $20, I expected it to be a bit smaller.I paired it with a little battery operated LED strip that I bought separately and it works perfectly to give my room great ambiance. The purple “stained” glass doesn’t interfere with the colors any. If anything, it really compliments them to give immaculate vibes. My pictures show it with a purple/blue color light, and then the orange. The last one is with the white light to really show how well it works nicely with the purple glass alone.All in all, super great addition to my room!

I bought two of these to hang on my wall. They reminded me of the vintage light my grandfather had in front of his house, and I wanted to use them to frame a photo that has been in my family for generations. They are perfect! I use battery operated candles to light them, and as you can see from my photos, the glow is beautiful. I would caution that these do have a delicate feel to them. So I would not recommend putting them somewhere that others will be able to handle them all the time or that they would be exposed to the elements, like wind. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.

The color is purple not red like the description states but I’m not mad about it. They look amazing and are perfect size for where I wanted them. I put in battery operated LED string lights and it lights it up perfectly. They have a good weight to them so it’s not plastic like I was afraid they would be. I would definitely buy again.
