I love this ottoman! It is nice, soft leather, and the seams look well made. I use it with my favorite reading chair in my study. It looks great and makes my chair sooo comfortable. Unlike other leather ottomans I have tried, it does not slide across the rug when I put my feet up on it; I think the seams help it to stay put. It arrived very fast, and it came with a nice little note from the seller, explaining who they are. They are a group of associations in Marrakesh that employ women who might otherwise be unemployed, and they make a variety of crafts. It’s nice to know that I am buying from actual human beings, not a corporation. Overall, great product and great seller!

The product is well made and sturdy. Enclosed was a nice thank you note from the artisans themselves. They are a cooperative that helps displaced women, handicapped individuals and others to earn a living by making and selling these hand made Moroccan products. Money made goes to pay rent for workshops, or for transportation to pick up the work made by handicapped folks who cannot drive. It meant a lot to get that note. We purchased the Poufs for our RV and we think they are really great.

1. You have to stuff the bag… which I didn’t have anything available so that was frustrating. I ended up stuffing it with cardboard packaging stuffing2. It smells absolutely RANCID!! I had to keep it outside to air out for 3 days and it STILL smells awful

Very nice. I stuffed it with foam rubber cut into 18” by 18” squares. Easy to stuff. I was concerned the zipper would not hold up to the stretching needed to insert the foam. No problem. Quality construction and it looks great.

I was looking for a quality leather ottoman. Not only is this high-quality, but it is also made by the Cooperative Bohemia Marrakech, a group including 32 young women and men, some of the women are single mothers, who have never attended school, or are physically challenged, some are educated, but cannot find work. This group makes handmade products, including rugs, Moroccan poufs, straw bags, and other leather products. They give training to abandon women and give them a chance to help their families and send their children to schools.I do not have anything negative to say about this product, but the buyer needs to know that they will have to provide their own filling.

Please note that this does not come stuffed. And it takes a lot to stuff it so that it’s firm enough to actually sit on. I stuffed it with three old bed pillows, several block pieces of foam, bubble wrap from packaging and some old clothing. And it’s still a bit squishy. And I only weigh 105 pounds. I would t advise anyone heavier than me to sit on it. But for using as an ottoman to put your feet in — which is what I use it for — it works fine.It had a strong smell from what I assume to be leather tanning chemicals, but after a few days the smell had greatly dissipated.Overall, I really like it and am glad I bought it. Besides, I have something to do with all that bubble wrap now!

This leather ottoman has worked out great. The craftsmanship is superb and the color is a nearly exact match for the chair that it was purchased to coordinate with. Filled it with styrofoam pieces at the core, surrounded by packing peanuts and bubble wrap. Packed it in pretty snug, with care to get the corners filled, sides smooth, and to create firm support. Would buy again if we needed another one. Highly recommend.

Our dog is 12 years old and has arthritis in her knees, she was having difficulty jumping up on our bed. We initially tried to lower the bed, but it wasn’t comfortable to be so close to the floor. We don’t have that much room in our bedroom, so most benches were too cumbersome, so this was the perfect size. It’s going to take some getting used to (on her part), but so far, it’s working out great. The color is so neutral, we could put it anywhere!
